​WHAT IT'S ABOUT 

Creating a virtual story book sharing the stories of those living on Vancouver's Downtown Eastside 

The purpose of this project is to share the stories of the lives of those living, working and surrounding Vancouver's Downtown Eastside as well as the homeless and marginalized population of Vancouver, creating a virtual story book that's goal is to end the stigma that surrounds the area and raises awareness to the struggles that the people of the area face

what care stands for...

Compassion- understanding the lives of those marginalized by poverty and injustice in our community 
Advocacy- raising awareness to the hardships faced by the homeless and marginalized population of Vancouver
Respect- appreciating the humanity and dignity of every person no matter their situation 
Empowerment- providing a platform for voices to be heard and giving an opportunity for people to share their stories
